One thing drives everything about Mitsubishi, from designing your vehicle to servicing and maintaining it: a passion for performance. We’re committed to creating the best New Zealand driving experiences.

To achieve it, we’re constantly putting our vehicles to the test in motorsport and rallies like the Dakar.
The Dakar Rally is a 16-day, 8,000 km slog through some of the world’s toughest terrain. To win it even once is an achievement. Our victory in 2006 – for the sixth year running - means we’ve won the event no fewer than 11 times since we first entered in 1983.

A record of innovation
The winning isn’t an end in itself for us. What’s important is the research and development that produces technology that goes directly into the Mitsubishi you drive on NZ roads.

As a result, Mitsubishi has established a record in the industry as an innovator. The list of Mitsubishi ‘firsts’ is huge. It includes the MIVEC engine (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing and lift Electronic Control; the first automatic transmission to adapt to your driving style (INVECS); New Zealand’s first MPV, the Chariot; GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) technology, ACD (Active Centre Differential) and our world-leading Silent Shaft technology.

With services like our Customer Care Centre, Gold Card, and Diamond Class vehicles we make owning a Mitsubishi a brilliant experience.

Mitsubishi Manufacturers Warranty
All Mitsubishi Passenger Cars are entitled to a 3-year/Unlimited Kilometre Warranty and all Light Commercial Vehicles get a 3-year/100,000km warranty. Your warranty is transferable, so if you sell the vehicle within 3-years, the new owner will continue to enjoy peace of mind for the remainder of the period.

The Customer Care Centre
Any Mitsubishi owner can call us for information or advice about our products or services on 0800 54 53 52. Our trained representatives are here to help you from 8am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-6pm Fridays and 10am-4pm on Saturday. Out of hours, you can leave a message or call the Roadside Assistance team on 0800 806 661.

Gold Service Card
New car buyers* receive a Gold Service Card, part of Mitsubishi’s Customer Care programme. It’s valid for three years and entitles the cardholder to some great benefits including:

1. Free three-year roadside assistance, 24 hours, seven days a week.
2. Access to MyMitsubishi, providing everything from reminders to renew your WOF or Road User Charges to a place to upload pictures of your vehicle.
3. Service completed on time or no charge**. (In the event of a delay the service team will keep you informed by text).
4. Complimentary car wash after every service.
5. Privileged “two for one” access*** to the world-class, Mitsubishi-partnered Zealandia – the Karori Sanctuary Experience.

*Excludes fleet vehicles. Available to original purchasers only.

***”Two for one” entitles the cardholder to one free entry to Zealandia – the Karori Sanctuary Experience (and to the Visitor Centre, once completed) of an equal or lesser value, when a ticket is purchased and the Gold Service Card is presented. Limited to one use of card per year.

Roadside Assistance
Every purchaser of a new or Diamond Class vehicle is eligible for Roadside Assistance. Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance can bring a rescue vehicle to your aid, 24 hours, 7 days. It doesn’t matter who’s driving – your partner, child, a work colleague or friend. Roadside Assistance applies to the vehicle, not the owner.

Just call the freephone on 0800 806 661 any time and we can help you with:
Vehicle breakdown. If your vehicle suffers mechanical or electrical failure and we can’t easily get it mobile again, we’ll transport the vehicle to the nearest approved repairer or place of safety.
Flat battery. We’ll jumpstart your vehicle and get it mobile again.
Tyre assistance. We’ll fit your vehicle’s spare tyre.
Emergency fuel. We’ll deliver five free litres of petrol or diesel if you run out.
Lock outs. If your keys are locked in, we’ll find a way to get inside and get you mobile.
Accident assistance. We’ll put you in touch with a reliable towing company.
