From time to time we need to recall vehicles. For New Zealand new vehicles we contact the owners directly.

Sometimes recalls are announced in Japan for Mitsubishi vehicles that may have arrived in New Zealand as used imports. These are vehicles that were not exported from Japan by Mitsubishi Motors nor imported by Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand. Consequently we have no knowledge of their whereabouts.

If such Japanese recalls meet code of practice criteria agreed between the Motor Industry Association and Land Transport New Zealand, Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand works with LTNZ to trace these vehicles and advise the owners.
