Fuso New Zealand wins top international awards

Mitsubishi Fuso New Zealand has won three top awards in the truck and bus brand’s “world champs” – its annual search for the most outstanding sales and service achievements in the 134 countries it operates in.

The 2009 ‘Fuso Awards’ recognise New Zealand dealers’ success in marketing the 4.5 - 8.2 tonne Canter truck range - the country’s most popular light truck over the past three years - and the factory training regime that keeps the brand’s service technicians at peak performance.

The easy-drive, economical Canter truck has been the choice of over a thousand businesses over the past three years, working in everything from road crews to campervans, tip trucks to crop sprayers. Its 12-model range is soon to expand when seven new auto versions are introduced.

The service training award, one of only ten given worldwide, commends the dedication of Fuso’s HQ team at Todd Park, Porirua to keeping technicians abreast of the latest Fuso technology and its dedicated diagnostic tools.
